June was a LOT of FUN....

June was a VERY busy month for me!  First, the new Annual Catalog went LIVE!!  I love so many new products from this catalog.
2017-2018 Annual Catalog

One of my favorite suites from this catalog is the Colorful Theory suite.  I was sold when I saw the Adirondack chair in the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies!  All I could think about was sitting on a beach somewhere!
Instead, I made this card as my swap for my upcoming craft retreat.  Inspiration for this card came from a project I saw on the Demonstrator Planning Group on FaceBook.  This group is for demonstrators only.  However, the creativity that is shown in this group is amazing!!
Supplies used:
Paper: Dapper Denim, Lemon Lime Twist, Whisper White, Window Sheet, Early Espresso, Serene Scenery designer series paper
Inks: Black Staz-On, Daffodil Delight, Berry Burst, Powder Pink
Stamps: Colorful Seasons
Accessories: Seasonal Layers Thinlits, Glitter Enamel Dots

This Little Piggy

My co-worker and friend of 18 years celebrated her birthday in May.  When I saw the This Little Piggy set in the new Annual Catalog, I knew I had to make a card for her using it.  She LOVES pigs!!

This was such a FUN project to make!!  Again, I used the shadow box frame tutorial.
She still has this card sitting on her desk at work!!  :)

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, I like to make "special" cards for the "moms" in my life.

Below are what I did for my mom and my grandma.

Mom got the Calypso Coral one and grandma got the Daffodil Delight one.

I used Becky Robert's tutorial from SplitCoastStampers to make the shadow boxes.  Her tutorial can be found here.

These shadow boxes were super easy to make and so FUN!!

May brought new changes....

Since I know many of you follow Becky Roberts on, in May, we learned that Becky was leaving Stampin' Up!.  This news brought many changes to our Inking Everything group.  For those of us that have stayed, we are now part of Suzie Barnes' group out of Roseville, CA.  Our new team name is called Y-Knot-Stamp-Everything!.

I will continue to cherish the time I had with Becky as part of her Inking Everything group.  She is a very special friend to me, and I wish her much success in her new journey.

At least I'll always have this picture of the two of us....

April Stamp Camp

Each month, I hold a class in Dayton, Ohio with a  great group of ladies.  While the ladies were putting their projects together, a little four-legged friend wanted to join in on the fun!

As you can see, he was enjoying his "pets".

For this class, I did something different.  I took several Paper Pumpkin kits and told the girls they could make as many projects as they wanted from the kits.  I have a bad habit of stacking my Paper Pumpkin boxes in my craft room and not putting the projects together!!  This was a good way to use the product and get rid of some boxes for me!!

OnStage Local - Richmond, VA

Next stop on my journey was a trip to Richmond, VA in April to attend Stampin' Up!'s OnStage Local event.  Once again, Dani Dziama and Elizabeth Charleton joined me on this adventure.

L to R: Elizabeth, Dani, Me
I was so excited to get the new Annual Catalog - I could barely contain myself!  It's always exciting to see what the new products will be.  You can only imagine how happy I was when I saw a new flamingo set called Fabulous Flamingo.  Spoiler alert: there will be a photo posted using this stamp set later.

Birthday Bash cont.....

The next photo I'd like to share is a display that my mom, Karen Robinson made using the So Succulent suite.

The detail that mom did on these projects was awesome!  Each of the flowers looked so real!  Do you see the mini flamingos in the log?  😊
These decorated wooden crates were used as centerpieces on each table.  One lucky winner at each table got to take it home!

On this Friday, August 11th, registration will OPEN for The INKredibles Holiday Extravaganza.  As you can see from the photos that I've shared, we have a lot of fun at these events and there are beautiful displays!!  If you haven't joined us in the past, I hope you will do so now.  The event will be held on Saturday, September 30th!!

See you there!!

It's been a while.....

Hello!  As many of you can tell, it's been quite a while since I've updated this blog.  Even though I haven't posted anything, I have still been creating.  Over the next several weeks, I will show you what I have been up to since the Birthday Bash event.

But first, I'd like to share some photos from the Birthday Bash.

This Tasty Treats display was made by one of my team members - Jahna Rice.
Jahna did a fabulous job on this display!!
The top picture shows the projects that each person made during the afternoon.

The photo on the right of the center row is a display I made using the High Tide, From Land to Sea, and Swirly Scribbles stamp sets.  I love our nautical stamp sets!

The bottom left photo is a display using the Nailed It and Urban Underground stamp sets.  This display was made by Debbie Heineman.

The bottom right photo shows the little animals with their party hats on!  Those party hats were made by my dear friend Patricia Hickman.  She also made the larger, stand alone party hat.

The photo on the left is all of the projects that Patricia Hickman and Shelly Kingham made using the envelope punch board and the gift box punch board, respectively.  The projects I made using the gift bag punch board were minimal compared to these fabulous ladies.

The photo on the right is Patricia during her demo.
