June was a LOT of FUN....

June was a VERY busy month for me!  First, the new Annual Catalog went LIVE!!  I love so many new products from this catalog.
2017-2018 Annual Catalog

One of my favorite suites from this catalog is the Colorful Theory suite.  I was sold when I saw the Adirondack chair in the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies!  All I could think about was sitting on a beach somewhere!
Instead, I made this card as my swap for my upcoming craft retreat.  Inspiration for this card came from a project I saw on the Demonstrator Planning Group on FaceBook.  This group is for demonstrators only.  However, the creativity that is shown in this group is amazing!!
Supplies used:
Paper: Dapper Denim, Lemon Lime Twist, Whisper White, Window Sheet, Early Espresso, Serene Scenery designer series paper
Inks: Black Staz-On, Daffodil Delight, Berry Burst, Powder Pink
Stamps: Colorful Seasons
Accessories: Seasonal Layers Thinlits, Glitter Enamel Dots

This Little Piggy

My co-worker and friend of 18 years celebrated her birthday in May.  When I saw the This Little Piggy set in the new Annual Catalog, I knew I had to make a card for her using it.  She LOVES pigs!!

This was such a FUN project to make!!  Again, I used the shadow box frame tutorial.
She still has this card sitting on her desk at work!!  :)

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, I like to make "special" cards for the "moms" in my life.

Below are what I did for my mom and my grandma.

Mom got the Calypso Coral one and grandma got the Daffodil Delight one.

I used Becky Robert's tutorial from SplitCoastStampers to make the shadow boxes.  Her tutorial can be found here.

These shadow boxes were super easy to make and so FUN!!

May brought new changes....

Since I know many of you follow Becky Roberts on, in May, we learned that Becky was leaving Stampin' Up!.  This news brought many changes to our Inking Everything group.  For those of us that have stayed, we are now part of Suzie Barnes' group out of Roseville, CA.  Our new team name is called Y-Knot-Stamp-Everything!.

I will continue to cherish the time I had with Becky as part of her Inking Everything group.  She is a very special friend to me, and I wish her much success in her new journey.

At least I'll always have this picture of the two of us....

April Stamp Camp

Each month, I hold a class in Dayton, Ohio with a  great group of ladies.  While the ladies were putting their projects together, a little four-legged friend wanted to join in on the fun!

As you can see, he was enjoying his "pets".

For this class, I did something different.  I took several Paper Pumpkin kits and told the girls they could make as many projects as they wanted from the kits.  I have a bad habit of stacking my Paper Pumpkin boxes in my craft room and not putting the projects together!!  This was a good way to use the product and get rid of some boxes for me!!

L to R: Elizabeth, Dani, Me
I was so excited to get the new Annual Catalog - I could barely contain myself!  It's always exciting to see what the new products will be.  You can only imagine how happy I was when I saw a new flamingo set called Fabulous Flamingo.  Spoiler alert: there will be a photo posted using this stamp set later.

Birthday Bash cont.....

The next photo I'd like to share is a display that my mom, Karen Robinson made using the So Succulent suite.

The detail that mom did on these projects was awesome!  Each of the flowers looked so real!  Do you see the mini flamingos in the log?  😊
These decorated wooden crates were used as centerpieces on each table.  One lucky winner at each table got to take it home!

On this Friday, August 11th, registration will OPEN for The INKredibles Holiday Extravaganza.  As you can see from the photos that I've shared, we have a lot of fun at these events and there are beautiful displays!!  If you haven't joined us in the past, I hope you will do so now.  The event will be held on Saturday, September 30th!!

See you there!!

It's been a while.....

Hello!  As many of you can tell, it's been quite a while since I've updated this blog.  Even though I haven't posted anything, I have still been creating.  Over the next several weeks, I will show you what I have been up to since the Birthday Bash event.

But first, I'd like to share some photos from the Birthday Bash.

This Tasty Treats display was made by one of my team members - Jahna Rice.
Jahna did a fabulous job on this display!!
The top picture shows the projects that each person made during the afternoon.

The photo on the right of the center row is a display I made using the High Tide, From Land to Sea, and Swirly Scribbles stamp sets.  I love our nautical stamp sets!

The bottom left photo is a display using the Nailed It and Urban Underground stamp sets.  This display was made by Debbie Heineman.

The bottom right photo shows the little animals with their party hats on!  Those party hats were made by my dear friend Patricia Hickman.  She also made the larger, stand alone party hat.

The photo on the left is all of the projects that Patricia Hickman and Shelly Kingham made using the envelope punch board and the gift box punch board, respectively.  The projects I made using the gift bag punch board were minimal compared to these fabulous ladies.

The photo on the right is Patricia during her demo.

Sealed wtih Love Banners

When I saw the cute little envelopes in the Love Note framelits, I knew I wanted to create a home dΓ©cor project with an envelope banner.

The mini clipboards were purchased from Michael's.  They came in a set of three and were located back in the frame section of the store.  What I like about this project is that it can be changed for any season/holiday.  The designer series paper isn't attached to the clipboard.  The banner is only attached with a glue dot on each end of the baker's twine.  The envelope liners give those little envelopes that little added touch!

I hope you will join us at The INKredible Birthday Bash.  Click here to get the details and to register.

Valentine Treat Holders

We also made two treat holders in my Valentine class.  One used our 2"x8" cello bags.  I wrapped three Hershey Nuggets in Sending Love designer series paper.  Then I added a cute little tag using the Sweet & Sassy framelits with the Love Note framelits.

The second treat bag used our Sending Love Glassine sheets with the Mini Treat Bag thinlit dies.  I added some Pop of Pink washi tape behind the strip of hearts.  This bag is the perfect size to fit a Little Debbie heart brownie.

Registration is still open for The INKredible Birthday Bash.  Click here for the details.

Sealed with Love Valentine cards

First up are the Valentine cards we made in class.  One was a full-size (A2) card joined by three 3x3 note cards.  The 3x3 note cards were make 'n takes from November OnStage in Secaucus, NJ.

The 3x3 note cards could be used as gift tags or given as a surprise in a packed lunch.  Who wouldn't love to receive a cute little note? 😊

The Happy Valentines Day card was inspired by Chat Wozelaki.

Balloon Adventures at OnStage

In November 2016, I attended one of Stampin' Up!'s OnStage Local events at Secaucus, NJ.  Below is one of the cards we got to make using the new Balloon Adventure stamp set and coordinating framelits.  Aren't the balloon and party hat trinkets the cutest?    😊

I loved getting to play with new product!

I've already registered for the Richmond, VA OnStage Local event taking place on April 8th!  I can't wait to see what is in the new Annual Catalog.  πŸ˜‰

Be sure to come back on Saturday, January 14th.  I'll be making an announcement about an upcoming event!

This card also uses the new Sprinkles Embellishments.  I love using these on my projects!
Have you thought of becoming a demonstrator?  If so, now is a great time to sign up!
During Sale-a-bration, when you sign up, you not only get the starter kit for $99 but you also get to pick TWO FREE stamp sets!!  There is no commitment when you sign up.  It's a win-win!!  😊

A few of my favorite things

Here are a few of my favorite projects that I've made over the last year.
This collection uses the Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Pop of Paradise stamp set.  Love the flamingo!

This card uses the Watercolor Wings stamp set.

I made this project right out of the 2016 Holiday Catalog.  This uses one of my favorite sets - Santa's Sleigh.

'Time for the Beach' is a layout I made using the High Tide and the Seaside Shore stamp sets.  Did you notice that it looks like a clock where the light beams are the hands telling time?  I also used the Brushwork Alphabet stamp set for the page title.  I love how the rhinestones in the bubbles give it that little extra bling.
I hope you have enjoyed these projects.
